Since my exchange didn't make it....
The fabric in the picture below is the rest of the hand tie dyed fabric that I did myself for the backing. My first time tie dying, too.
All in the Orange theme, for Michelle too.
The postcard that there was only half of, I unfortunately don't have a picture of, but it's one from WH Smiths, with a funny camel on it. On an Orange Background. And I bought an orange pen PURELY for writing that postcard too.
I'm so annoyed with the royal mail. And I won't stop until I get refunded for EVERY element of that exchange. That means the fabric, the dye, the thread, the aida, the ribbon AND the postage!
Keep on Stitching.

Batteries all charged up now so hopefully the pics will do Maddy's stitching justice.
I think one of these days I'll have to get a new camera!

Re Exchange
I've been looking at designs for the hanging ornie/ scissor fob exchange and wondered if I should just get going and stitch or if we will be told who we are stitching for so we can investigate their tastes?

Colour exchange
Hello!
My name is Lucy, known as Lula, I am 33 and live in Hertfordshire. I live with my fella Terry (who works away so I don't see much of him) and my lil lad jacob who is 4. And also lurking in the house is a crazy spaniel Monty.
I love making things and my fav hobby is cross stitch. I have been stitching for 25 years although seem to have remarkably few finished pieces to show for it.... lots of UFOs though. I have never taken part in a cross stitch exchange before.
I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all.

PS I really wanna join in the new hanging ornie scissor keep exchange but I'd be no 13.... bit worried about the implications! Can someone hold my hand through this first one???

**HANGING ORNIE OR SCISSOR KEEP** exchange sign up
what about a small hanger or scissor keep, your probably talking about something no more than 4o stitches square, just to give you an idea of the size, you can do it shaped if you like as in a diamond or a heart, add a ribbon or a braid, whatever you like, just something small, a quick stitch.
you have until the end of april to sign up and until the end of may for it to arrive with your partner..

I have absolutely loved stitching my piece for this exchange and I am just sorry that it is late. I hope my partner loves it as much as I have enjoyed working on it.
