How to make an ATC

For those of you that are interested in this exchange, you may find the following tutorial helpful - http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Artist-Trading-Cards

Remember our art for this piece will be a cross stitch design that will be appropriate for the size.  If you click on the following link, you will see an ATC I did last year for an exchange - http://loopylousadventuresintohandicrafts.blogspot.com/2009/09/cross-stitch-atc.html

Hope this helps.  Sign up closes 11th October

ATC Swap

Following on from Maddy's post, we thought it might be an idea to arrange an ATC exchange.

An artist trading card (or ATC for short) is a tiny, original piece of art created with the intention of swapping or trading it with another artist, not selling it. The one rule an artist trading card must adhere to is the size. An ATC must be 2.5x3.5 inches or 64x89 mm.

The art for us would be our stitching, so we would find a design that would be an appropriate size.   On the reverse would go your name, the name of the piece(if there is one), and the date.

Would all those that are interested in an exchange please email me with their names and addresses by 11th October and we would get them sent out to our partners by the end of the month.

My email is loopylou1966@hotmail.co.uk.  Please feel free to ask for any help along the way, and we will try and point you in the right direction.  The important thing to remember, these are quick and fun to make, and make for a great collection.

hi everyone

Sorry I have been away for so long, I became so involved in University that I just couldn't find the time to visit all my blogs and message boards except facebook every now and then.

Anyway now that I am working and have a fairly reliable internet source I need to get my stitching MOJO back.

I do love this exchange blog and enjoyed all the exchanges I took part in before my disappearing act.

I was thinking that I haven't ever made an ATC and was wondering if anybody else had. Would anyone mind doing an ATC exchange at all?
