I'm Joining

Hello, my name is Jan and I am a stitchoholic! I have been stitching for over 25 years. I gravitate towards the big projects, such as TW and HAED, but have recently discovered exchanges. Yes, I'm hooked now. This is the second group I've joined.

I live in Alexandria, Virginia in the US with my DH and 2 furbabies. We're right across the river from Washington D.C.

I have a blog if anyone would like to visit at Stitching Cats.

I'm excited to be here and look forward to my first exchange.

Summer has arrived

Thank you, Edit, for my summer bag full of goodies. It really made my day. DS2 will be especially delighted as he is learning Spanish, so anything from Spain is special. I know he will want the paella, so the recipe will be much appreciated.
Many thanks

Greetings from Canada too

Hi everyone, just joined the group and love to exchange and of course stitch.
I live in Canada and move around alot (not by choice) but soon I will retire and start blogging also.
I have been stitching for about 20 years but started with my Mom teaching me embroidery at a very young age.
Everyday, needle and thread meet at some point (call me an addict) but I do not wish to give it up unless I have to.
see ya on the next exchange.

Hello from Canada :)

Hi Everyone

I am so excited to join along with the group! My name is Angela, I have been stitching for just a little over 15 years and blogging for a little over a year. I was born in the UK but my family moved to Canada when I was just 6 years old and we have lived in many different provinces. I love exchanges, stitch daily for many more hours than I really should, and am a TV junkie :) I like to watch both British and American shows (some Candian too). My favorite designer by far is Lizzie Kate but is very closely followed by Prairie Schooler. I also love many, many other designs and designers like Little House, Country Cottage, Bent Creek, Waxing Moon, San Man Originals, Samplers and Quaker designs too. Please feel free to visit my blog, Hooked on Stitches to see some of my work.

Happy Stitching,

Introducing Myself

I wanted to introduce myself to the group. My name is Wendy Jo Brees and I am from Muscatine, Iowa in the USA. I have been stitching for over 20 years. My all time favorite designer is Lizzie Kate and after that, in no particular order is Blackbird Designs, Heart in Hand, Shepherds Bush, Drawn Thread, Littlehouse Needleworks, The Prairie Schooler and just about anything else that grabs my eye and says "stitch me"! I have primarily stitched on 28 to 32 ct linen but am venturing out into the 35 to 40 ct linen. I love to stitch with overdyed threads (GAST, Crescent Colors and WDW).

My blog is: http://wentostitch.blogspot.com/

I participate in a few exchanges regularly and really enjoy them and have made some wonderful friendships and I look forward to participating in this group and making some wonderful friendships here as well.

Thanks Lorna for inviting me to join. I am very excited to be a part of this group!

Happy stitching to everyone.

**Home Sweet Home** Exchange sign up--OPEN

ok for this exchange it is themed HOME SWEET HOME
so it needs to be something about the home,

home is where the heart is.....
i think there are some about dull women have imaculate homes!......
home is where my stitchings at!.......
a house is a home with love inside........

do you get my drift?
just something about the home, i can be just a nice sentiment or something funny...its upto you

now because we have more people joining us from overseas i have extended the stitching time

you have signup until end of july to sign up, you have until end of august to actualy stitch, you items must go in the post NO LATER THAN THE LAST DAY OF AUGUST

so if you sign up today and start stitching straight away you have 6 weeks of stitching time

so whos in?

ALSO
HALLOWEEN /AUTUMN EXCHANGE

I am also taking name for a Halloween /Autum exchange
for this you must tell me which you would like to receive an autumn themed or halloween!

you will have until august 15th to sign up then i will give partners and you will have to have you items in the post for last day of september,
i will give you a partner of the same choice as your own, so if you have asked for autumn you will be stitching autum and if you have asked for halloween you will be stitching halloween!
again that is 6 weeks of stitching time from details given

you can join one of both of these exchanges

just let me know which or both and which you have chosen, halloween or autumn

so the timetable for these reads

signup for HOME exchange until end july
in post by last day of august

sign up for HALLOWEEN/AUTUMN 15th august
in post last day sept

let me know!

Lucy and Chris...

have you received your emails about partners....sorry if you have already told me this and i have missed it!
