Just to clear up any confusion!

The exchange i have just sent partners out for is the Friendship on, i have not sorted the food and drink one yet, that will be at the end of february

if you look down the right hand side and scroll down you will see list of those taking part in each exchange, i will do this for each exchange so you can keep track of which ones you are in,

you will not be receiving from the same person that you are sending to and for each exchange i will change the partners round so you will be sending to and receiving from somone different as much as i possibly can.

hope that helps

Next Exchange-- FOOD AND DRINK

i was'nt going to post this until end of january but michelle will be away for most of february so i am posting it now!

the way i am thinking with this one is....
anything to do with food and/or drink in a very broad sense
i know little house needleworks have the designs, "the Chocolate shop" and "strawberry house" lizzie kate do chocolate designs, the chocolate could bring in the easter side of things!
A Bee produces honey which is food
teapots for the Drink side of it

Do you see where i am coming from

sign up until end of feb
posting by end of march

whos in?

Next Exchange

Woo-Hoo Lorna - I'm excited.

When are you going to reveal what the next one is?

Love Michelle x

Guess who's half done?

Yes, I am. And that's really good considering I don't like to stitch as much as my Mum would like me too Haha. I've halfway done the stitching, and I am actually quite enjoying the design I chose. Hope you're all doing well, Take Care. Lucy. x

so what do you lot think?

Hi to everyone

Hi,

I'm Amanda, otherwise known as Zandon on the boards (my blog is Stitching Stuff) and I'm looking forward to participating in a number of exchanges. I don't expect to be able to do them all, I'll be happy I think if I manage about half. In order to make sure I don't muck up, I'm going to try and complete or almost complete an item before I sign up for any exchange, otherwise I can see that I'll miss deadlines and things.
Hi Everyone, my name is Janice, I live by the sea in Hastings, Sussex. I love cross stitch mainly but do a little knitting and my aim for 2009 is to conquer Quilting.
I know Lorna and Michelle from lornas forum.
I have taken part in exchanges and RR's before but am a newbie at ornies.

Guess who finished!

Hi All

Guess who has finished her friendship piece - yes me!
Thought I'd make an early start on it especially with us going on holiday.
So its all done. Really pleased with how it turned out.

Hope everyone is well.

Hello Everyone.

Hi. I'm Lucy, and like my Mum, I don't like writing these, so I too will keep it brief. I'm 20, engaged, and a Mother of one, to my son, Caleb, who is a little over 9 months old. I've been stitching for around 10 years, since my Mum taught me. I don't stitch a lot, but when I do, my Fiance has a hard time getting me to put it down! I've never done an exchange, OR finished anything in anything other than a frame, but there is a first time for everything!

Happy New Year to all, and I can't wait to find out who I'm sending to! x

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Hello all

I know a few names but most of you probably don't know me :)

I hate writing these things so they tend to be brief. I'm Lindsay, technically a single mum and a granmother that's 36 years old and has been stitching for 17 1/2 years now. I look after my Mum who's disabled during the day and spend my evening's with a needle in my hand, days too if Mum is having a good day.
I've not done much in the way of finishing and will say that my skills aren't the best in the world but if I can put together the stitching chair's the rest is easy, I just need practice

Hello All

Hi Everyone

Elisa - great to see you here.

Like Elisa said some of you may already know me. I'm Michelle, 42 years old, married to Andrew and have 2 sons Matt who is 14 (going on 40!) and Bruce who is 17 months old. I have been stitching for 30 + years and adore it. Love learning new finishing skills so this site is just perfect. I work part-time as a Clerical Assistant for the local County Council within their Social Services department and I love my job.

Righty-o, off to make a start on the exchange and I have just the thing in mind!

Stay warm everyone - Love Michelle xx

Hello to all!!

I do know a few of you I think, but to those I do not, a big hi & hello!!

I am Elisa, a 37 year old single mum of 2 (DS 4 & DD 6 weeks), I have been stitching for almost 25 years and am totally addicted.

I adore exchanges, but do have to limit myself as sometimes I do over commit and with a new baby in the house she does take up the majority of my time...lol. I am looking forward to joining in this blog and making new friends.

Hugs & Happy Stitching
