For some reason I have been unable to comment on posts despite being a member of the blog so thought I would make a post instead.

I'm a little worried about my Valentine's Exchange piece as it has now been 2 weeks since I mailed it.

Also I would like to join in the Buttons & Thimbles exchange, although don't have a chart as yet, I love the theme though!

Think that's it, also looking forward to seeing what everyone has stitched for the Valentines Exchange.

SIGN UPS ARE NOW OPEN…

The theme for this exchange is buttons n thimble. You must have a thimble and buttons somewhere in the exchange, on your design or included in the package. No extras unless it is buttons or thimbles. The usual rules apply for the exchange, an item must be stitched and finished (I thought a pocket or pouch would be a great finish but I leave that up to everyone’s creativity, as long as it is finished).

For the Buttons n Thimble Pocket exch...sign up by 31^st January, 2011. Partners will be emailed to you by Feb 2^nd, 2011 and stitched piece to be mailed out by 1^st March 2011.

Took it to the post office this afternoon, not sure how long it will get take to get to it's destination, my last one took longer than expected.

You beat me to it as I was just about to put a photo up. I've had a bug for the last half of the week and vistors at the weekend so this is the first opportunity to get on the computer.

It is a gorgeous pillow and I am so lucky to have received it. Mine will be on its way this week as soon as I can get out to the post office.

Xmas ornament

Haven't been able to post pics recently but have found I can use Flikr now so here is the piece I received and the piece I sent. Both photos are clickable.

Here is the piece I received from Lucy. She also included some little pressies including an Tiny Treasure kit, a snowman ornament and a bag of choccies for Joey. Thanks Lucy they were all gorgeous!



Here is the ornament I sent to Vivian of a reindeer in the moonlight, the moon has a sparkly thread for it that doesn't show up in the picture.

My Ornie has arrived....

Thanks so much to Vivian for the great little ornament she made and sent to me! I love it! She also sent along several items of goodies (flosses, little shopping bag, post card, stick pins and some button snowflakes as well! oh? Did I mention the CHOCOLATE MINTS?? ha!So much FUN to open! Xmas Ornament Exchange

My ornament exchange piece went into the post today after trudging through the snow lol. The queue was the longest I've seen but I wasn't deterred. Joey spent the time playing his DS so he wasn't bored. I hope it gets to it's destination OK as it has some way to go.

Also I received mine this morning. Am I right in us opening them on Christmas day???
