Maddy - Exchange arrived

I had to go and pick the parcel up from the Post Office yesterday but haven't been able to get near the laptop to say thank you! It was difficult not to rip it open before I got home!!

All I can say is wow! It is absolutely gorgeous and the photo I have taken really doesn't do it justice. It is beautiful! The backing fabric colours are wonderful and the stitched piece is great. I love it! Thank you for the little teddy too - he is so cute! The thread will be great for when I get my hardanger out again and of course the fabric is brilliant. Where did you get them from? Hopefully somewhere that is online so I can get some more!

I really am chuffed to bits with everything. I am so glad it wasn't lost in the post!! Thank you!

Autumn/Halloween exchange

Hi ladies, I signed up for both the halloween and autumn exchanges. So far I have received from Chris but not my other partner. I don't know if you have posted that you sent to me but if so I haven't received anything yet! If you haven't sent yet then obviously it isn't lost in the post or anything!!

This arrived yesterday but there was nothing on or in the envelope to tell me who the kind sender was.

If it was you, a very big thank you.  My DS2 wants to take it for himself, he's so taken with it, but I love looking at it in the lamplight.  It looks lovely.  If it moves from the front room, it will be to my bedroom!  Many thanks

I have a Question

Can people please tell me, truthfully, if they think there is too much backstitch in my pieces.

And I don't mean "two of them are complete backstitch" because believe me, I've had my ear chewed about that already.

I mean across ALL of them, in general.

BUY a pressie for you partner that is NOT stitchy related

the pressie must be wrapped to go under the tree but the stitched piece can be opened on arrival!

you have until end of october to sign up, you package must be in the post for 1st dec
