just to let you know i will be sorting the halloween/autumn partners out later sorry i am a bit late did not feel upto it with this cold that just won't leave me, off to shop and such now, so look out in your email boxes later.

This is the lovely exchange piece that I received from Lucy. She made the design up herself and made it into a little hanging pillow. I love it Lucy and the colour is just right and the words couldn't be truer....I'm never without a cuppa in my hand. Thank you.

This is the absolutely divine cushion which I received from Chris this morning….I adore it so much, it’s in “my colours” and will fit into my bedroom so perfectly, the fabrics she has used are so pretty and the ribbon trim just finishes it off so delightfully.

The postman had perfect timing by bringing this today as I'm off on holiday within the next hour and had planned to post a warning to my partner that I would be away and not able to say if it had arrived!

Autumn/halloween exchange!!!

i have been thinking about this..........i had trouble deciding which one to go for, well halloween was my first choice of course lol but then i thought "oh but i love autumn too" so i was thinking........... if anyone would like to do both halloween and autumn in the exchange then thats fine, obviously only if you can manage both pieces in the time given!!!

Summer is here :)

My exchange arrived yesterday, but since the weather was so awful I couldn't get the right light to get a picture, so here we go today instead :) It's a great flatfold from Jane :) She even included some DMC threads (which I really appreciate, since my LNS is Beaties, and they only sell anchor *is sad*) and some Kreinik Metallics Gold Thread (something I have never used before!)
She also included the card you can see in the picture, which is a layered one, like decoupage, which I also love :) Thank you so much to Jane, I ADORE it. Trying to find somewhere to put it now - I've got something EVERYWHERE!!

Looking forward to the Home exchange for this month, should be a good one!!

Oh, and has my exchange been recieved yet? I posted it on Monday and haven't seen anything posted yet.
